FUND RAISING Interested Not Interested
As a Non-profit organization, all of our income is derived from donations. We hold many fund raisers during the year and volunteers are needed to work these events. This would require you to travel to the location where the event is being held, work the hours you have signed up for, and help with setting up and clean-up afterward. This also requires direct interaction with the public and the ability to promote our rescue group.
  • Do you have a vehicle or other means of getting to/from fund raising events?
  • Are you available on weekends?
  • Do you enjoy working with the public?

FUND RAISING SUPPORT Interested Not Interested

SHELTER EVALUATIONS Interested Not Interested
It is often necessary to visit animal shelters to evaluate dogs in need of a home. This requires travel to/fro the shelter, which can possibly incur gas and toll costs. It is also helpful if you have a camera to take a picture of the dog. Evaluations require interaction with the dog to assess temperament, approachability, and how the dog responds to commands, etc.
  • Do you have a vehicle to travel to/form shelters?
  • Do you have any fear of approaching a strange dog?
  • Do you have any experience evaluating dogs?
  • Can you objectively assess a dog you haven't met before?
