Jerry Lee is quite the character and we think he spent a lot of time watching the movie K-9. An overall good natured dog, he is ready to roll-over for a great belly rub or show his affection with kisses.

A ham around the camera, he is glad to sit for some good photo's or ready to shoot a home movie, just don't forget to give him a treat for a job well done.

Jerry Lee walks exceptionally well on a leash and has gone through a full week of training. Occasionally he needs a reminder that snacks on the counter should stay on the counter, but he is always eager to please. In addition to enjoying people, Jerry Lee generally gets along with large dogs and has spent time together with female German Shepherds. He finds small dogs and cats perhaps a bit too amusing so he would do best with another German Shepherd in the house. Jerry Lee is very smart but needs a consistent and compassionate handler who will keep him well trained. In return, Jerry Lee will reward you with an outstanding companion.
